Personal life experiences and resulting attitudes and beliefs are stored in our body. This "body-memory" allows us a very direct access to our inner world. Seemingly lost personality traits that can only be obtained difficultly through the linguistic and intellectual way, can be made accessible again. Expression can be recovered.
I would like to support clients to regain an honest and loving look at themselves, to find more vitality and inner peace. The signposts on this path of personal inner growth are: self-awareness, self-expression and self-acceptance.
I offer dance therapy work as individual sessions. Important to me is a respectful and boundaries-acknowledging attitude, an atmosphere of appreciation and trust.
The sessions usually last 50 minutes and can include exercises for body awareness, guided or free form movement, as well as opportunities of conversation and reflection.
