Soul Motion Workshop with Michael Molin-Skelton & Edgar Spieker
This five-day immersion for seasoned Soul Motion veterans and to those just beginning the Soul Motion path, is a deep dive into the architecture and essentials that support this practice.
Emphasis is on the foundational four Soul Motion Movement Landscapes; dancing alone, dancing with another, dancing with everyone, dancing in the everyday with special focus on the platforms of pause presence, orbit orientation and echo inspiration.
This workshop is open to all. It is a base requirement (pre-requisite) for the Soul Motion Leadership Program and is based on the work and vision by Founder / Artistic Director Vinn Arjuna Martí.
Michael Molin-Skelton is Soul Motion Teacher and 5 Rhythms Teacher residing in Port Townsend. USA. He performed and choreographed in companies both nationally and internationally for 15 years. Michael is teaching 5 Rhythms since 1994 and Soul Motion since 2001. He has been a 16 year student of continuum montage with Susan Harper and his teaching of the 5 Rhythms and Soul Motion has been greatly influenced by her mentoring. He is a certified Esalen massage practitioner since 1995 and is passionate about the art of touch. Michael is a Senior Faculty Member of the Soul Motion School.
Edgar Spieker is Soul Motion teacher and Dance Psychotherapist. His deep passion is to support others to find more authenticity, presence and fulfillment in the dance called life. Being a trained musician and singer, he always felt that music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul. Through his experiences as martial artist, including being a member of Germany’s First National League of Shotokan Karate, he learned the great benefits attached to being fully present in a situation. Edgar is Faculty Member of the Soul Motion School. He resides in Hamburg, Germany.
Fee: 420 € / 390 € reduced rate. Accomodation and food starting at 248 EUR.
Terms & Conditions:
Since space in the workshop is limited, all registrations are binding. Cancellation is only possible until 3 weeks before the workshop starts. Later than that you can only cancel your registration if you present somebody who takes your space. In case of illness or accident of the workshop leader he has the right to cancel the workshop and contract. In that case any workshop fees already paid will be reimbursed to the participant. Any additional costs of the participant, like travel or accommodation costs, will not be reimbursed by the leader or organizer. As a basic principle all participants take part at this workshop at their own risk.
