Soul Motion Workshop with Edgar Spieker

A fast pace is not an expression of liveliness. Many people feel burnt out and empty in the face of the speed of their lives. Not infrequently, a deep fatigue spreads and covers the fascination and fullness of this world like a veil.

And then there are those moments when we are completely absorbed in the activity. Moments that, despite a breathtaking intensity, do not cost us energy, but give us strength. Moments in which we seem to be in the midst of the flow of life, feeling carried and connected to something greater, giving us strength. We are in flow with the world.

In order to find this flow, we need to listen carefully to our own truth, we need to decide to leave the beaten path, and we need patience not to be discouraged by the first bumpy steps on seemingly trackless land. Setting our own pace against the world takes courage. But it contains the possibility to feel happier, more connected and more alive again.

All this we will practice this weekend in dance and in moments of pausing.
